Jimmy Ferry’s thought provoking look at the changing
face of Liverpool city centre.
‘Retiree’ Jimmy was completely new to IT and computers
when he enrolled on a ‘Beginners Guide’ course at EDT
he quickly discovered a natural aptitude for digital
photography and he combined this with his life long
passion for local history.
Five years on and Jimmy has been putting
his skills to good use making slide shows and films that
show how Liverpool has changed over the last 150 years.
Progressing from still to moving images, he has now
uploaded over 40 films and slideshows onto YouTube, many
with the local history theme on show in this, his initial attempt
